Descanso Elementary School

Congratulations to all students grades 3rd-6th for completing all sections of the CAASPP State Testing. And a special shout out to 5th grade who also completed the CAST Science test, as well. If your son or daughter was absent during any of the testing days, we will be conducting our final make-up next week.

Next week, Scholastic BOGO Book Fair will be at school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! Monday, students will have the opportunity to preview the books, and on Tuesday and Wednesday classes will have their scheduled visit where they will be able to buy their books. The book fair will also be open to families Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after school, as well. Don't miss out on this Buy One Get One (BOGO) event!

It is unbelievable that we are getting so close to the end of the year. With that said, we are starting to plan for the upcoming year, and would like to get an idea of how many students will be returning. If you have not done so already, please fill out the Returning Next Year Survey. Thank you for taking the time to do so.

Just a reminder that May's Awards Assembly will be Friday, May 27th in the afternoon. Please note the new times below. Thank you!
