Principal's Message Good Evening Center High School Families and Friends,
We hope that everyone has had a safe and enjoyable Fall Break and look forward to students returning to campus Monday, October 11, with an early release A Day. This week will be Homecoming Week and make-up pictures will be held Tuesday, October 12. For more information on Homecoming week, picture day, campus wide expectations, parking permits, dress code update, and more, please see below.
Also, please note, starting this week, all students that drive to campus must have a proper parking permit displayed in their vehicle. Parking permits are available for $15 from the ASB office.

Homecoming Week SPIRIT WEEK: Monday: Beach Day
ALL WEEK: Lunchtime events by class
FRIDAY: Area Decoration Judging at 8am
SATURDAY: Homecoming Celebration at 7pm in the quad Homecoming Area Decorations This year, Center High School will continue with the tradition of area decorations for Homecoming, however, on the morning when displays are viewed, we will not be able to host visitors on campus. We will have the students livestreaming the areas as well as posting videos of the areas after. Information regarding the areas, themes, and hours over break are as follows:

School Pictures Picture make-ups will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021. If you would like to review pictures from the pictures taken on September 2nd or 3rd, or place an order, please go to mylifetouch.com and use the following School ID Code: EVT4TR4V9
Students who have not yet received an ID card will be able to receive one at this time.
Closed Campus As a reminder to all families, Center High School is a closed campus and students may not leave campus during the day for any reason without being signed out. Students are also not allowed to receive third party deliveries of food.
Parking Permits Starting this week, all student vehicles will be expected to display a valid parking permit. Parking permits can be purchased from the ASB window for $15.

Parenting with Love and Logic CJUSD Families! Mark your calendars and join us for a Parent Education Series: “Parenting the Love and Logic Way” Six Wednesdays, beginning October 13 through Dec 1 (no class Oct 27 or Nov 24). This is a virtual event. See the attached flyer for more information.

2020-2021 Yearbooks are In If you or your student pre-ordered or would like to purchase a 2020-2021 yearbook they have arrived and are available at the ASB window. Students can go to the ASB window before school, during lunch, or after school, and families may sign in through the office any time during the day except when ASB is closed for lunch around 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
21-22 yearbooks are also available to be pre-ordered and are only $65 at the ASB window. After the October break, the price will go up to $75.
Social Media Concerns Center High School continues to monitor social medial trends and would like to bring to everyone's attention our concern that students may wish to participate in actions that could result in serious incidents. We encourage all families to talk with their students about appropriate behavior at school and how actions, thought to be just a joke, can be very serious and have undesirable consequences.
CJUSD COVID-19 Information In an ongoing effort to minimize the transmission of COVID-19, Center High School and Center Joint Unified School District are following the latest information from California Department of Public Health. We ask that all families regularly screen students for potential COVID-19 symptoms before sending students to school. Below is a flyer about screening for symptoms.
