Thanks to all who attended the LLEF Community Rodeo! It was a huge success, with almost 300 enthusiastic cowboys and cowgirls and a great mix of parents, teachers, staff, and administrators. Thanks also to our new Superintendent, Erik Burmeister, who brings strong leadership and shared his vision for our District, including the need for all of us to invest in our schools. (Another chance to meet Erik is the La Entrada Picnic on Thursday May 15, co-sponsored by LE PTA and LLEF.)
About investing in our schools, we are more than halfway to our goal of raising $300,000 from the Rodeo and Auction, and we need your help. Please consider donating and participating in our Online Auction. These funds will go directly to supporting our teachers and the outstanding instruction they provide for our students. The Auction includes dozens of the famous treasures and experiences with teachers and administrators, many community events in the future, and various other items and services donated by community members. (And yes, the coveted reserved parking spots at the schools are also in there!)
Please consider investing in our schools. Every dollar helps to support our children's excellent education! You can donate directly here, or contact LLEF Executive Director Dan Bergeron to donate through a charitable giving organization or to make a securities gift. We also appreciate accessing corporate matching funds whenever possible, if your employer provides that benefit.
Thank you for joining us, standing strong for our community, and supporting our schools.
