Weekly Thanks

Thank you to everyone who donated to the American Heart Association for our Kids Heart Challenge!  Our school raised almost $5,000 to help individuals, both kids and adults, who have special hearts!  Thank you St. Joseph School!

Thank you to all of the dads who joined us for Dads Mass last week. A special thank you to Mark Corio and Tom Schmidt for leading the singing. We appreciate all our dads do for the school, and it was a special celebration for the kids.

Time, Talent, Treasure

Fish Fry Raffle Volunteer - The April 4th Fish Fry benefits the School. If you are willing to help organize the 50/50 Raffle that takes place that day, please contact Sr. Carol.

We invite everyone to the weekly Fish Fry, but particularly on April 4 when the raffle benefits the school. If you want to purchase raffle tickets to support the school but you cannot attend the Fish Fry, we will have tickets available to purchase prior to the Fish Fry in the School Office.

Safe Touch Program

During the week of April 7-11, the "Safe Touch" program will be presented by Sr. Ellen. More information is available here.

Repeat Tardiness

We have a number of students who have been repeatedly tardy for school this year. Please understand that both tardies and absences are included in your child's school records, and, if excessive, may cause challenges for your child's continued education beyond St. Joseph. We hope that any families with repeated tardies will make an effort to change your morning routine to arrive to school by 7:50a.m..

Pauline Book Presentations

Pauline Book Fair and presentations by the Sisters will be March 27-28. Details to follow. The sisters will have books available, including books for Lent for children and adults.

Interested New Students

If you know someone who is interested in joining our school community next year, please encourage them to complete the Admission Inquiry. If the student is in Second grade or older, we also ask for a copy of a report card or assessment.

Morning Drop-Off

Morning drop-off has increased from a handful to now nearly 80 students who needed the 7:00 am assistance and almost half of the school is here by 7:30 am. We are seriously considering two things for next year: 1. drop-off beginning at 7:30 am and 2. a minimal fee of $1 per day for the use of early drop-off. We would work with parents who are in need.

Teacher Resumes

We are in the midst of reviewing our needs for the 2025-2026 academic year. Please encourage any teachers and/or substitutes to send their resume to Sr. Carol. The Office of Education and Formation of the Archdiocese of St. Louis has also begun a recruitment campaign; see below.

Fish Fry Upcoming!

Each week of fish fry, nut-free homemade or store bought desserts will be accepted beginning Wednesday each week in the Corpus Christi Center lobby. Remember, sales from the April 4th 50/50 Raffle will benefit Saint Joseph School. However, we are selling tickets earlier and the ticket will be drawn on 4/4 -- Winner need not be present.
