The assessment consists of 50 questions to demonstrate a student’s mastery of the 6th grade, Course 1 math standards. See the CA standards here, which include highlighted standards that are more heavily addressed in the assessment.
Choosing to accelerate in math above grade level is an important family decision. In order to inform this decision, district staff are hosting a virtual Parent Math Information Night on February 26, 2025, from 6:00-7:00 pm for parents of current 5th graders. Please register to attend the information session.

CCLF CORPORATE MATCHING Did you know that most employers, big and small, will match your donations made to the school? THANK YOU to the many parents that took advantage of this "free money!" Because of you, we have already received more than $30,000 from corporate matching.
Corporate matching is an amazing way to double the impact of your donation! In some cases, we have families that even triple their donation. That’s right! If both parents’ employers match, the same donation can be matched by each company. All donations made to the school are eligible including Fund(d) Run, Spell-a-thon, music, chorus, drama, etc.
