Dear parents/caregivers of 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students,
SRVUSD remains committed to providing our students with opportunities to take the SAT, ACT, and PSAT exams. As part of our ongoing efforts to operate within available resources, we are exploring ways to sustain the costs associated with testing, including exam fees, proctoring, and administration.
For the next school year (2025-26), these are the key updates regarding testing:
-
SAT exams will continue to be scheduled during the school day in fall 2025 and made available to 11th and 12th grade students. Students pay fees during test registration.
-
ACT exams will continue to be scheduled during the school day in fall 2025 and made available to 12th grade students. Students pay fees during test registration.
-
PSAT exams will be made available to 10th/11th graders during a regular school day in fall 2025. Information about testing fees will be shared in future communications.
-
Students who qualify for Educational Benefits may be eligible for low-cost or free exams. Families will have an opportunity to fill out the Educational Benefits application during the Annual Update process before the start of the 2025-26 school year.
In August, we will share additional details, including registration information and scheduled testing dates. Thank you for your continued support as we ensure our students have access to these important testing opportunities.
