Why Your Child's Attendance Matters |
Your child’s presence at school is more than just attendance – it’s a key part of their growth and our community’s success! Every day in class, they bring their energy, ideas, and personality, enriching the learning experience for everyone. By being present, they’re building critical academic skills, making friendships, and gaining life lessons that prepare them for a bright future. Let’s keep our classrooms filled with curiosity and excitement – together, we can make every day count!

Huskies of the Month: Leading the Pack |
We are so proud of these eight students who were honored as the Huskies of the Month in January for exemplifying the Husky Code! Here's a little bit about each student and why they were recognized: -
Ayden is a diligent and thorough student. Every assignment is done with the utmost care and attention. He constantly strives to improve himself and asks for teacher feedback regularly. He is always looking for ways to grow and learn. He is polite, kind, and respectful to everyone around him.
-
Robby is an excellent student. He tries his best and never gives up. He approaches problems with the utmost confidence and tenacity. He is supportive and helpful to his peers, always willing to explain his thought process and nudge them in the right direction. Robby is an exemplary student who sets an excellent example for his peers.
-
TJ (Tracey) was nominated for his invaluable contributions in assisting others with technology. His patience and willingness to help have made him a go-to resource for those navigating technology. TJ's calm demeanor and clear explanations have made a significant positive impact.
-
Myelle is a leader in the classroom and on the playing field. Her diligence and dedication to schoolwork and sports are a perfect example of what a Riles Husky should be. She is safe, respectful, and responsible; her example rubs off on her peers. Her grit and determination help her overcome challenges and struggles, but she always finds a way to improve and succeed in any endeavor.
-
Laylah is an amazing student. Each day, she works to the best of her ability and is responsible for completing her assignments very well. Her work is remarkable in that she goes above and beyond what is required and looks in depth for solutions. Laylah is more than willing to help those around her become more successful. I am grateful for the effort that she puts forth every day. Laylah will be able to do anything that she puts her mind to and meet any challenge that comes her way.
- Oscar is kind to others and selfless in general. His concern is that everyone is considered above himself. Oscar works hard on assignments and completes everything with fantastic effort.
-
Evalina is an amazing student who is dedicated and willing to do her best! She consistently applies herself while working and creates connections with students and parents to provide a positive outlook. She is a great student who is kind and supportive of all she encounters.
-
Rogan is always ready to start class when the bell rings. He follows directions, participates in group activities, and tries his best. Rogan has a good memory for details and has memorized all of our students' A/B Day schedules. He takes the initiative by doing his classroom jobs before being asked. It is a pleasure having Rogan in class. His kind and joyful spirit light up the class with positivity.
