Please continue to keep the Ruzicka family in your prayers. To give faculty, staff and families an opportunity to attend the funeral for Mr. John Ruzicka, school will not be in session Monday, November 25th.  Kids Club is available from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Lunch Menu Change

Lunch on Tuesday, November 26th is turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, carrots, and a roll.

Testing Our Catapult Connect Notification System

We are going to conduct a test of Catapult Connect before the snow flies. Catapult Connect is the system we use to notify parents of a change in schedule. We have chosen Tuesday, November 26th around 3:30 pm for the test. School is out and no one would be alarmed thinking they missed a message.

The message delivered will be somewhat like this:

"Hello, this is Sr. Carol from Saint Joseph School. As we published in the Sunday Notes, THIS_IS_A_TEST of our notification system. You should have received an email, a phone call, and a text. This is the way we contact you in the event of a weather-related delay or closing the school for  any emergency. At this time there is no emergency and this concludes the test."

SIP Visiting Team's Final Words

Parent Attendance at In-School Events: Important!

If you choose to attend school parties and field trips, you must be in "compliance" with the Safe Environment program (Protecting God's Children) of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, as has been repeatedly stated in these Sunday Notes and on the website.

We are asking every family to consider having at least one parent in compliance by getting your background check and attending a workshop. Failure to do so means you are choosing to stay away from most activities dealing with your child. Please make a choice and let us know when you complete the requirements.

The Archdiocese requires all school volunteers to be in compliance. Please click the link to learn more about the Safe Environment Program.

Instructions on how to register.

Register for the program.
