Hello Wildcat Country! It's here! The Great Kindness Challenge! This week-long program, dedicated to creating a culture of kindness and compassion in communities worldwide, will begin this coming Monday, January 27th.
To help our students practice kindness and put their compassion into action, they will receive a Great Kindness Challenge checklist to encourage all students to practice as many acts of kindness as possible within this week. More importantly, our hope is that students will feel inspired to continue these acts of kindness at home and continue these acts without having a checklist as the year moves forward! Wildcat Families and Staff--let's lift each other up, cheer each other on and show the world (and each other) that kindness matters! Blessings, Wildcat Country! Last Wednesday, our 1st-5th graders enjoyed a wonderful performance from our own Auburn Symphony Orchestra. The performance started with the fun Pink Panther theme and continued to expose our Wildcats to all sorts of music, a display of instruments, and some great fun. Thank you, to the Auburn Symphony, for spending the afternoon with us! We loved your music and show and our students were a fantastic audience!

Hello awesome EV Cain Families! Ms. Julie, your Library Tech, is here to say hello and to tell you how wonderful your children are! They love the library and she is wondering if you could help her help your students have an even better library than we have now! She has a super easy way for you to do just that!
Check out this Amazon wish list with books we would like for our library. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/5XD3XV2AYHCT?ref_=wl_share
You can also find books at a second-hand bookstore if that's more your style. And hey, if you've got a favorite book you think she should have, she'd love to have it! It's so fun watching our Wildcats get excited about reading new books. |
