Teacher Appreciation in November
Dear QR Families! It’s November- let’s shower our wonderful teachers and staff with love and gratitude! The PTA would like to organize a healthy Salad Bar lunch for our staff before going into Thanksgiving week! Any item you sign up for should be brought in between Thursday 11/21 and Friday 11/22 Morning at 10:00am the latest! Lunch will be served on Friday, 11/22 at 11am. Please make sure all food items are fresh, washed, cut, and ready to eat. Please drop off items in disposable containers as they will not be returned. Thank you for your consideration and help in showing our appreciation for all the teachers and staff's hard work! :) Sign up here!

Quail Run Families, we need your help!
Quail Run families, I hope you’re having a fantastic day. As we look forward to our beloved annual Multicultural Night and Family Dance, I’m reaching out to ask for your help in making these events happen. These celebrations are all about honoring our incredible diversity and creating joyful memories together. Multicultural Night enriches the educational experience and fosters a harmonious school environment where every student feels valued and included. By highlighting the rich cultural backgrounds of our students and families, we promote a deeper appreciation for diversity within our school community. However, we need enthusiastic parents to step up as lead organizers for each event. Without a lead, we risk having to cancel them, and we don’t want that! If you enjoy bringing people together, have a knack for organizing, or simply want to get involved in a fun way, we’d love to hear from you. Reflections Art Program Winners!
The theme this year was “Accepting Imperfection” for Reflections Art Program and we received a great number of responses. Judges had a hard time choosing the winners. Sister School- Board Game Drive
Quail Run Elementary is a proud Sister School partner with Hillside Elementary in San Leandro. They are currently in need of board games! Please consider donating new or gently used board games (all pieces accounted for please!) to our sister school. They specifically would like multiple copies of: Connect 4, Chess, Guess Who?, Uno, Jenga, Mancala, and Lego Duplos. There will be a collection box for board games at the front office thru November 15!
Inclusive Schools Week - Jan 13-17, 2025
To celebrate inclusion of all of our students with disabilities at all of our schools, San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs is selling Inclusion Matters t-shirts which will be worn on the final day of Inclusive Schools week in January. The shirt is the disability pride flag which aims to promote awareness of the positive pride felt by those in the disability community and says Inclusion Matters @ SRVUSD.
