Spotlight on CJUSD Library Techs and the Importance of Reading Our CJUSD school libraries not only strengthen reading and literacy skills and are essential for information and development, but they are also safe places for every one of our students to come, feel welcome, and be accepted no matter who they are, what they believe, or what they look like. Many students come in to read, do homework, visit, play board games, and take advantage of other activities. From a Library Tech's Perspective
Meet Rebekah Garcia from Center High School. "I am so lucky to be a part of our library community." Rebekah loves her job and working with students. Her favorite part is watching students who thought they hated reading, learning to love to read. She also loves running her school's book club!
When she's not working, she's reading, spending time with her family, or working on crafts. |
