Happy November SD 308 Community,

I hope you are enjoying the fall leaves and sunshine, which is a fantastic show of nature’s golden hues and warm colors! As we turn the calendar to another month, we’re reminded of how quickly time progresses and the importance of soaking up special moments and celebrating achievements.

One of our district’s core values is collaboration, which means students, teachers, staff, and families working together to reach shared goals, improve learning, and create a positive educational environment. With collaboration in mind, on behalf of our board, I am excited to see you at the board’s public forum on Monday night. This event is a valuable opportunity for our community to learn about our strategic planning process as we shape the future of our district together.

During this forum, you’ll actively participate in discussion and planning in several focus areas and learn about the milestones of this strategic journey. This is a chance for our community to actively participate in developing a plan and stay informed. We believe that the best outcomes for our students arise when we collaborate, learn together, and keep an open line of communication across our community.

Your involvement strengthens our shared mission to create the best schools for our students. We look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible on Monday night. Students, staff, parents, and community members will have several opportunities over the next few months to share ideas that will inform the strategic plan.

Warm regards,

Dr. Andalib Khelghati

Superintendent of Schools

Community Unit School District 308
