Principal's Message

Dear Grande Park Families,

I hope this message finds you well and filled with the same energy and excitement I see in our students every day.  As we wrap up another fantastic week, I want to take a moment to celebrate our Read-a-Thon, share some exciting upcoming events, and remind everyone about the joy of learning that fills our hallways!

Read-a-Thon
A huge thank you to all of our students, families, and staff who participated in our annual Read-a-Thon.  I am so proud of everyone who took time to dive into books, explore new worlds, and grow their love of reading.  Amazing job, Grizzlies!

Author Visit Next Week
We are beyond excited to welcome author Shannon Gibney to Grande Park next Wednesday, October 2nd.  She will be sharing her experiences as a writer, offering insights into their latest book, and inspiring our young readers and writers.  It’s always a joy to see our students connect with authors and ignite their own creative sparks. We can’t wait!

Barnes & Noble Night – Tuesday
Mark your calendars for our Barnes & Noble Night this coming Tuesday, October 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.  This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some time together as a school community, purchase books to continue building our students' love for reading, meet author Shannon Gibney, and support our school!

Thank you for continuing to support our school and helping us create an environment where every student can thrive.  Have a wonderful weekend, and I look forward to seeing you all at our upcoming events!

Sincerely,

Sean Smith
Principal
