Happy Friday, Quail Families,
As September comes to a close, our teachers are hard at work preparing for Parent-Teacher Conference Week. You should have already received invitations to join us on campus to celebrate your child's strengths and set goals for the upcoming year. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child's teacher and discuss their academic, social, and behavioral progress.
Here is the conference week bell schedule, - TK/K AM - Arrival at 8:00 am - Dismissal at 10:30 am
- TK PM - Arrival at 9:30 am - Dismissal at 12:00 pm
- 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 - Arrival at 8:00 am - Dismissal at 12:00 pm
A huge thank you to all who attended our STEM Night last week! It was a huge success, and we're so grateful for your support and enthusiasm. We hope you had as much fun as we did exploring the world of science, technology, engineering, and math.
Today, during lunch, we were thrilled to announce our Students of the Month for September! Please join us on Monday, September 30th, for our first assembly of the year. We'll celebrate our staff and students and introduce our October Character of the Month, "Patience."
This week, we've noticed an increase in certain behaviors that we'd like to address together. Please remind your child to be respectful in the lunchroom and at recess by using kind words, listening attentively, and following the lunch room and playground rules. Please help the school buy encouraging them to be responsible by cleaning up after themselves, taking care of school property, and keeping their hands to themselves. And most importantly, remind them to be safe by following all safety guidelines, playing fairly, and looking out for their classmates. Let's work together to make our lunchroom and recess times enjoyable for everyone!
Please note that October 31, 2024 is Halloween and we will follow our adjusted Wednesday bell schedule. Warmly, Bassant Abdelrahman Proud Principal of Quail Run Elementary |
