Dear SRVUSD Students, Families and Caregivers,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are proud to support you in your desire to take one or more Advanced Placement (AP) exams this year. We want to provide you with the following information to ensure you can successfully register for your desired exams.
At this time, Advanced Placement exams are set to be administered in person during the first two weeks of May, 2025. Please review the schedule set by CollegeBoard (not the school site).
SRVUSD is partnering again with Achievement Point Test Service (APTS) to facilitate registration and payment. This process begins on Monday, August 26th. AP exam registration consists of two steps:
Note: CollegeBoard deadlines may differ from those listed here. SRVUSD students and families must follow the deadlines noted below.
STEP 1: Activate Exam - deadline to activate is no later than October 25, 2024

Students must join their AP® Class on the MyAP College Board site.
- Please note this is the same account students may have already set up for PSAT/SAT registration; do not create a new account if your student already has one.

Students will be given a code from their teacher, which links them to their course.
- Pro tip: Use a personal email account so CollegeBoard is accessible to you when/if you exit SRVUSD.
- Click on “Register for Exam.”

Step 2: Fee Submission - deadline to pay is no later than October 25, 2024, in order to not pay a late fee.

Click on Submit AP® Exam Payment https://aptsusa.com/srvhs/ and complete the payment form to submit fees.
- All students need to complete the online payment form, regardless of the method of payment.
Fee Structure:
- If registering on or before 10/25/24, the cost is $139 per exam ($187 for AP Capstone).
- If registering between 11/18/24 and 2/28/25, a $50 late registration fee will be added to the cost of the exam(s). Registration will end on Friday February 28, 2024.

Fee Reduction Applications are available for students needing financial assistance. Please submit the form to Dave Miller.
Cancellations:

Exams canceled on or before November 15, 2024 will receive a full refund.
- Exams canceled between November 16, 2024 and February 28, 2025 will receive a refund minus the $40 CollegeBoard cancellation penalty and APTS fees.
Students with Accommodations:
If you are considering requesting support from district staff to request accommodations please follow this link for more information. The College Board deadline for accommodations requests according to our testing dates can be found here. Please know the college board makes final determination regarding accommodations according to their timeline, so please submit your interest for accommodations as soon as possible.
