1st GRADE SLIP SCHEUDLE STARTS MONDAY, AUGUST 26! The 1st Grade Early/Late Friend Program is designed to maximize individual attention by reducing classroom sizes for two periods of time each day. The time designation is made by your child's teacher. Starting Monday, August 26, the 1st Graders SLIP Schedule begins: - Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 8:00am - 1:50pm or 8:40am - 2:30pm

CALLING ALL SRVUSD STUDENTS (3rd - 5th GRADE)
STEAMWORKS is an after-school program available for all SRVUSD 3rd-5th grade students created to team up curious and motivated elementary students with high school students (mentors). Mentors will encourage and develop teamwork skills as they guide elementary level students through STEAM Challenges based on Destination Imagination Instant Challenges. Mentors will be under the guidance of a credentialed teacher at Dougherty Valley High School and a Destination Imagination Regional Committee Member.
Meeting location is Gale Ranch Middle School MPR on August 27 from 6:30-7:00 pm. |
REGISTRATION/CLASSROOM SUPPLY DONATIONS ARE ONGOING!
California ranks among the lowest states in the nation for school staff and funding per student. This means that the State and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District do not fund critical instruction.
The Coyote Creek Learning Fund funds essential programs and resources, including classroom supplies, field trips, reading and math intervention and more! Teachers purchase school supplies for each student through parent donations from Registration.

Destination Imagination offers a fun, hands-on way for kids to experience the creative process and engage in collaborative problem solving as part of a team. Whether your child is interested in STEM, the Arts, or community service, this extracurricular program is a great complement to the common core. MARQUEE BIRTHDAY MESSAGES
What a great way to celebrate your child's birthday! If you would like to wish your child a "Happy Birthday", please submit $20 (check or cash) donation with this form to our school office. The message will be displayed the week of the birthday and can stay for up to three days, depending on other messages requests. Make checks payable to Coyote Creek Learning Fund.
Order must be placed by Wednesday prior to the week of the birthday. |
MENCHIE'S FROZEN YOGURT IS BACK!
Great news - our partnership with Menchie's Frozen Yogurt will continue this year! Menchie's will set up in the front of the school every Friday at dismissal (on August 23 they will be here from 1:25-1:55 pm). Cost per cup of frozen yogurt is $5, with one dollar of every cup sold going to Coyote Creek. Menchie's is always prepared with a good variety of flavors. So please support our school by getting a cup of frozen yogurt on Fridays! Menchie's Frozen Yogurt is Back!

CCLF CORPORATE MATCHING THANK YOU for everyone who took time to submit their corporate matching requests so far! Remember, it's not too late to help the school take advantage of "free money" from corporate matching, but companies typically have submission deadlines. Check with your employer to ensure you submit in time! Registration donations are eligible!
