| Countdown to Summer!
Monday, May 13th begins our 10 day countdown to Summer Break! Wow, it's hard to believe that we have only 10 days left of the 2023-24 School Year! To celebrate the great work from our students and staff we wanted to join together in a coundown of activities. Students may participate in as many activities as they like.

We Thank You for an amazing Teacher Appreciation week The entire week was filled with great food, treats and words and signs for appreciation. We can't thank the Boulder Hill PTA, the Teacher Appreciation committee & all parent(s)/guardian(s) & community members for the donations and volunteered time. Everything & Every Day was a GREAT HIT!!
The week ended with our Watch D.O.G.S. preparing a delicious breakfast before they took to work volunteering for the entire school day! |

Bully Prevention Assembly
We had a great interactive all school assembly, presented by Imagination Theater, called Ease the Tease which focuses on bullying prevention. Students learned about types of teasing & ways to respond.

Parent Focus Groups will occur prior to PTA meetings. We will have our next Parent Focus Group on Tuesday, May 14th @ 5:30 PM.

Welcome Ms. Tristan Cure - Boulder Hill Assistant Principal Meet & Greet on Tuesday, May 14th
We are pleased to welcome Tristan Cure to Boulder Hill as the 2nd Assistant Principal to join the building administration team. Ms. Cure is a bilingual educator with years of experience in education. Ms. Cure will join us beginning the 2024-25 SY.
We will host an opportunity for our families to Meet & Greet with Ms. Cure on Tuesday, May 14th @ 5PM - 5:30 PM. This will take place in the Boulder Hill cafeteria prior to our Parent Focus Group meeting @ 5:30 PM and our PTA meeting @ 6:30 PM. Attached please find an introduction letter from our new Assistant Principal Tristan Cure. |

Field Day 2024 We are preparing for another great Field Day this year!
Field Day is scheduled for Friday, May 17th (Rain date Monday, May 20th). We will monitor weather closely and let families know as soon as practical in the event that the event will be resched Students should wear the designated shirt colors for thier grade level - Kindergarten-Red

- 2nd-Yellow
- 3rd-Green
- 4th-Blue
- 5th-Purple

| Student Classroom Assignment - Parent Input Form It's that time of year when we begin planning for the 2024-25 school year. Every year we provide our parent(s)/guardian(s) the opportunity to provide feedback on their child's classroom assignment.
Included in the attachments below please find the copy of the parent input form. Please note that the deadline to return the form(s) to school is Friday, May 17th. Here are some important points for you to know regarding submission of the parent input form:
➢ If your student has an instructional or social need that you would like to be considered when assigning classroom placement, please complete and return the Student Placement Input Form (attached). ➢ Please email the form to (tjones01@sd308.org) or mail in a sealed envelope addressed to: Boulder Hill Elementary ℅ Toia Jones-Principal 163 Boulder Hill Pass Montgomery, IL 60538 ➢ Deadline to submit a form is Friday, May 17, 2024.
➢ You may not request a specific teacher. Any form that specifies a specific teacher will not be considered. ➢ If you would like to discuss your input with me directly, please contact the principal’s secretary to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be scheduled during the summer month(s).
