Mental Health Awareness Month - May
San Ramon Valley Unified School District recognizes the month of May as Mental Health Awareness Month. With the rise in stress, fear, uncertainty, and suicidal thoughts, addressing the mental health needs of children, youth, and families is critical. The Board of Education commits that SRVUSD will intentionally commit to: Increasing awareness and understanding of mental health for our entire educational community; helping our children, youth and adults be aware of the steps they can take to protect their mental health; and providing appropriate and accessible services for all people, especially children and youth with mental health conditions.
