Dear Parents,
The SRVHS Academic Boosters is our school's Education Fund. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit parent volunteer organization committed to supporting quality programs that enhance the educational experience for ALL students at SRVHS.
We are in the last days of the school year and have already begun to plan for the 2024-25 academic year. Our goal for the upcoming 2024-25 school year is to fund 18 CLASS SECTIONS at an average cost of roughly $26,000 per class. A class section is: one teacher, one classroom, one subject for one year.
We fund our programs and add classes through parent donations and corporate matching. Our funding must be committed early, to ensure that we meet our annual staffing commitment, well before summer break. We ask you to DONATE before June 1st, so we can fund our program budget of over $500,000.
Without your support, many of our core academic classes will be very large (35-38 students per class) and student elective choice will be severely limited. Your donation will make a difference! Your support allows us to continue the programs we have enjoyed for many years at SRVHS.
Our suggested donation is $650 per student. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and eligible for corporate matching programs. 90% of our annual budget will fund extra class sections, the College and Career Center, and teacher and student club grants, and additional after school library hours.
