Action Items:
Approval of Home-to-School Transportation Service Plan
Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation (MOT) Director Joyce Massaro gave this presentation on the services the district’s transportation team provides and the considerable value it adds to the district. Seven bus routes serve 476 LLESD students (approximately 40% of our students) and 12 Woodside students. The school bus drivers impact a child’s day as the first person they see and are greeted by when they start their school day and the last person they see.
Approval of 2023-24 Second Interim Financial Report
The District must file two interim financial reports with the state each year. Chief Business Officer Mei Chan presented the Second Interim Report for 2023 2024 to the board, including actual revenue and expenditure information through January 31, 2024. The Second Interim Report has a positive certification, meaning it can meet its financial obligations for the current fiscal year and the two subsequent years.
