The Center district is a close-knit community with a strong sense of history and belonging. Students attend our schools, graduate, and often return to raise their own families and pursue careers in education. This unique environment has inspired us to define a collective commitment, known as The Center Commitment, to cultivate a district-wide atmosphere where everyone belongs, makes an impact, is valued, and thrives. We value your voice and actively seek your input through yearly surveys. Your feedback on safety, wellness, connections, and the overall school environment shapes our accomplishments and areas of improvement. The Center Commitment is a direct result of the voices of our students, staff, and families. We will celebrate the accomplishments of our community members by sharing their stories through photos and short videos on our website and social media platforms. These highlights showcase the positive impact made by our dedicated educators, support staff, and families each day. We invite you to join us in showcasing the diverse ways in which our students, staff, and families belong, make an impact, are valued, and thrive. Help us discover new ways to enhance these experiences for each and every member of our community. Together, we can create an inclusive and thriving environment for all students, staff, and families. Happy holidays! With winter break upon us, we encourage you to relax, unwind, and settle into a safe and restful break.
The holiday season is a time for togetherness and joy, but it can sometimes bring unwelcome guests, like stress and grief. Some of us may be experiencing the holidays without a loved one. Some of us may be balancing endless to-do lists from shopping to entertaining. While we each celebrate this season’s joys, it’s important to stay mindful, acknowledge our feelings, and reach out for help if needed.
