Medication at School
With the winter season upon us and spring allergies coming up, we remind you that all medication (prescription and over-the-counter) must have the District's "Medication at School" form on file signed by your child's doctor and the medication needs to be in its original packaging with your child's name on it. Do not send medication to school in your child's backpack or with instructions to take it at lunch. All medications must be kept in the nurse's office. If you have questions, please contact the school office.
Lost and Found
Our lost and found racks and bins are already getting full again! Remind your students to check them to see if their missing items are there. Also, it is far more likely to have items returned when you label your children's things.
TK & Kindergarten Enrollment~24-25 School Year

Student activities during the school day
Throughout the year, we offer student activities during lunch time for the students. For 1st-5th grade, we offer art activities at recess. For 4th-5th grade, we offer Student Council and Prism Club. For 5th grade, we also offer junior librarians.
Art at Recess- We will have fun art activities during lunch recess led by our counselor Mrs. Zhang or our Art instructor, Mrs. Subramanian. All students 1st-5th grade are welcome to participate
Student Council- open to 4th and 5th graders. One representative will be elected per class and will meet once a month to plan fun activities for our students.
Prism Club- Is your child looking for a space to connect with peers and truly be themself? Check out Quail Run's Prism Club! Prism Club will be starting Mid-September and will be hosted every other Friday during the 4th and 5th grade lunch/recess time, from 12:05-12:45. The Prism Club will be student led, but facilitated by Ms. LeMay and Mrs. Sealock, two of our teacher coordinators. Each week students will play games, listen to read alouds, and engage in discussions surrounding gender identity, LGTBQ+ history, ally ship, and respect. Together, as a club, our 4th and 5th graders aim to make Quail Run a space for everyone to feel welcome and connected.
Junior Librarians-Ever wondered what Mrs. Howard does in the library during 5th grade lunch recess? Become a Jr. Librarian and find out!
Quail Run’s Jr. Librarian program will begin in a few weeks and is open to all 5th graders.
5th graders who become Jr. Librarians are assigned specific days to come help Mrs. Howard in the library during one lunch recess per month.
It’s a great opportunity for students to work together and learn new skills that will enhance their library knowledge and experiences. Mrs. Howard will be presenting details to all 5th grade classes in a few weeks.
If you do not want your student participating in any of these activities, please fill out this form by Friday, January 19th
