Hello, 🦊Fox Chase Families! Happy Thursday!
Parents/ Guardians,
Fox Chase Elementary School is classified as a Title I school. Being a Title I school means receiving federal funding (Title I dollars) to supplement the school’s existing programs. As part of this process we are asking parents/ guardians to be a part of this process. I have created a short video presentation outlining the Title I process and what roles parents/ guardians play in this. Please take a moment to watch the video and complete a quick survey for us.
Best Regards,
Mr. Jeff Rainaldi
Principal Fox Chase
Notes from the Office:
We already have over 50 lost clothing items in our lost and found bins! Only one item had a student name in it allowing us to get it to the proper owner. If items are missing, please have your student check the lost and found. Please send any items you can labeled with a student name!
If you ordered fall pictures they are coming home today and tomorrow. If you did not order, but your student was here on photo day, they will come home with a small proof sheet and instructions on how to order if you would like to. If you are not happy with the photo, we will have a retake day on Thursday, November 2. In order to get a new photo taken you will need to return the entire packet you ordered on retake day.
Veterans Day Assembly
Dear Fox Chase Families,
I am pleased to inform you that Fox Chase will be presenting a Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 10, at 9:30 a.m. We would love to extend the invitation to any active or retired military personnel who would like to attend. Due to the performance taking place during the school day, we ask that only veterans who R.S.V.P attend in person. The program will be recorded and streamed online for all to watch afterward. Check out this flyer for more information
To R.S.V.P., please fill out this form https://forms.gle/rKjroTDk69AJcFpAA
Or you can contact Amy Bartle at abartle@sd308.org with the name of your veteran and their branch of service. For any veterans that would like to attend, there will be refreshments provided before the performance. Veterans should enter via door 1, into the main office, and are welcome to arrive after 9:10 a.m.
We will be showing photos of veterans that are related to our Fox Chase students and staff. If you haven’t sent in a photo in previous years and would like to, please send them to ckowalski@sd308.org with the subject line, “Veterans Day.” Please provide the veteran's name, the branch of service, and the relationship to the Fox Chase student.
The students are really excited to share their appreciation and talents with our veteran guests! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Take care and have a great week,
