Ruby’s Shriners UC Davis Fundraiser
We are so excited to get this fundraiser started! Ms. Miller's 6th grade class delivered collection boxes to each classroom with a short presentation. Ruby's goal is for our school to raise $1000 to donate to the hospitals. Our PE teacher, Mr. Wall will also have a collection box in his classroom and if he collects $200, Ruby will get to pie him in the face that Otter Day Rally on November 18th. So please remind your student to take their coins and dollars to him as well!

Our school puts a great deal of effort into providing an enriching and safe learning environment. We feel that it is very important to recognize students for their hard work and their success. Each month, teachers will select two students who have shown the most growth or effort in the academic and life skills focus area for that month.
At Oak Hill, Our Otters Will... Be Safe Be Responsible Be Respectful Be Ready
The following student scholars were recognized during the month of October in the areas of Mathematics or Responsibility. Congratulations! Gooooo Otters!!! |

October attendance is off to a great start! After our first week, TK Otter Pups are in the lead with a 96.7% attendance rate! Keep an eye out for 3rd grade with a 95.5% attendance rate. A few more kids each day can really make a positive impact on attendance and academics!
Our attendance rate goal is 95% |
Message from Ms. Plumb, Librarian Over the next two weeks, our Otter Pups will be bringing home books from the library that they may keep. These books have been removed from our collection and have a stamp on them that says "DISCARDED". These books do NOT need to be returned.
We also have two little libraries on campus where students can grab books and take them home for free! #raisingwildreaders |
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the front office at 916-338-6460. Otters, Otters, Otters! Rah, Rah, Rah! With Pride,
