A Time to Be Thankful 

Dear Delaney Families,

I hope that you and your families are doing well. I can’t believe we are wrapping up another month in school. 

November is a time for reflection and giving thanks. Now more than ever, I am thankful to be a part of a wonderful school community with such a caring, dedicated and supportive staff and parent community. I am thankful for the opportunity to work each day with students who are respectful, responsible, and always ready to learn.

I am looking forward to seeing many of you at school this week for parent-teacher conferences.

I hope that you and your families have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

REMINDER: Conferences 

Parent-teacher conferences will be held on the evening of Tuesday, November 1 and on the afternoon of Thursday, November 3rd. Students will be dismissed from school at 11:30 AM on both days. The teachers are looking forward to meeting with families this week! 

Delaney Lost and Found

The Delaney School Lost and Found is located in the Delaney Main Office vestibule. There are several jackets, sweatshirts, etc. in the lost and found. All lost and found items will be donated at the end of each month.

Please be sure to label all sweatshirts, jackets, lunchboxes, water bottles, etc.

PTO Information

Fun Run- 11/9/22–11/21- This is our BIGGEST Fundraiser of the year

This year, our entire school is raising funds for field trips, teacher resources, and enrichment programs. Our goal is to raise $35,000, and, if you’d like to, we are inviting YOU to help!

Registration opened – October 26th- see email sent earlier in the week or visit Wrentham PTO Facebook page for more details on how to register

Event Kick off – November 9th

Main event – November 21st.  This event is Wrentham Fun Run….families are welcome to attend.  More details to follow.

Lead Coordinator for events-help needed

We have a few events, dances, and fundraisers that need lead coordinators.  We have many volunteers that have offered to help, but do need a lead person in charge or else we will not be able to run the events.  We are looking for:

        Holiday card fundraiser

        Gift card fundraiser

        5th grade father/daughter/someone special dance

        6th grade father/daughter/someone special dance

        6th grade graduation yard signs

Pokemon Cards- Reminder

As a reminder to all students, Pokemon and other trading cards are not allowed on the school bus or at school. These are highly valuable items to students and their presence can lead to hurt feelings, regret, and jealousy. Students who need activities on the school bus are encouraged to bring small fidgets, books to read, or activity books. 

Counselor's Corner 

In our efforts to create a positive, healthy, learning environment, our students are being exposed to universal language and education related to coping skills and self-regulation. Our school adjustment counselors continue to teach various SEL lessons in classrooms.
