The first week of school is new and exciting, but it can also be overwhelming for parents. Don't worry - we are here to support you along the way. We hope the information below is helpful, but if you have questions don't hesitate to contact us! Last but not least, please let your children know how excited our entire staff is to have them with us this coming year. Go Coyotes!
WHAT TO BRING
TK/KINDER: The tote bag provided by Registration donations and a snack (backpacks are not required).
GRADES 1 - 5: A backpack, snack, and lunch (no lunch the first day of school). Lunch is available at no cost from our MPR. Check out the lunch menu!
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Teachers purchase school supplies for each student with classroom donations from Registration. Thank you to the Coyote families who have already completed this process!
DROP OFF AND PICK UP
TK/KINDER: Parents park on the street and walk their child to the Kinder blacktop area and wait for the teacher to pick up the class. Students are dismissed through the front doors of the TK/Kinder classroom. There is not a drive thru for TK/Kinder students.
GRADES 1 - 5:
- Walkers: Parents park on the street and enter through the outside pathways on either side of the office. Students line up on the blacktop according to their room number. At dismissal, walkers meet their parents at the supervised basketball courts.

Drivers: Enter the drive thru in front of the school. Students exit/enter the car from the passenger side only and must have their personal belongings ready (backpacks, lunch bags, etc.) to exit/enter the car upon arrival.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: The parking lot is for STAFF ONLY - parking permits are required.
TRAFFIX
TRAFFIX bus service starts the first day of school!
FIRST TWO WEEKS GRADES 1 - 5 ON ASSESSMENT SCHEDULE
Grades 1 - 5 are on an assessment schedule from August 11 - 19 (please note the TRAFFIX bus schedule is aligned with our assessment schedule). Starting August 22, 1st grade begins a SLIP schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Please see the calendar below for arrival and dismissal times.
ABSENCES
Please email ckattend@srvusd.net by 8:15am for all absences or late arrivals.
VOLUNTEERS
Adults on campus must register and receive clearance through "Be a Mentor". Parents that are not cleared through "Be a Mentor" will not be allowed on campus.
COVID TEST KITS
Test kits are available in our school office.
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AT NO COST!
Breakfast and lunch are being served in our MPR at no cost for students. For TK and Kinder students, lunch is available from 11:45 am ‐ 12:15 pm.
